I am now officially a  new member of the State of the Art Gallery in Ithaca,NY. If you go to the website and scroll down you can see that I am the featured artist. You can also see my artwork under "members" section.

News for this week

 This is the point I am at with the painting. It's slowly getting there.

I am now a member of State of the Art Gallery. I had my new member orientation this week. 

You can see my paintings here at the gallery or here at my website. I will be having two paintings in the Salon part of the gallery for the month of May.

What I am working on

This is how far I've gotten on the painting. 34 x34.  Layering, blocking in areas, figuring layout and making changes.

This is the digital collage I "sketched" out by cutting and pasting small bits from my paintings to create new images and adding other elements.

It's been a long time

It's been a long time since I felt like I could post on the blog. Things have happened in the past 9 months. One in particular as horrible as life could throw at you. And then after much darkness a glimmer of light happened completely unexpected and I was asked-invited to be part of the State of the Art Invitational Art Show. There was me and seven other artists chosen to participate.
